By deploying use-cases with (international) companies and institutions we explore policy-making and measurements for sustainable & safe drone operations in the city.
Our proposition
Urban sky
We often fly in the city, bounded in the south by the canal belt and in the north by the IJ. The area features buildings, bridges, inner harbor, and greenery. People come here to work and socialize.
Operator
For each flight, a dedicated, certified operational team is ready. They establish the flight plan, provide drones, and manage associated (radio) technology. A certified drone pilot conducts the flight..
Stay facilities
Our living lab features various co-working spaces. There is even an opportunity for (international) project teams to stay overnight on the premises in a short-stay facility.
Maker space
In the workshop area, participants have access to 3D printers, virtual reality, laser cutters, and CNC milling machines..
Heli pad
In our living lab we often use the helipad at the navy barracks. We request permission from the Defense organisation for each flight.
Eco-system
Together with 30+ companies and institutions, we perform drone flying operations above and within the city.
